- Score one proposed workflow, not your entire business.
- Choose one answer per question: A = 0, B = 1, C = 2, D = 3 points.
- Choose the highest answer for which every condition is true today. Plans and supplier assurances do not count as completed evidence.
- If you do not know, score 0 and record the missing evidence.
- Do not award automatic points for “not applicable”. A deliberately excluded activity earns credit only where that boundary is documented and, where relevant, technically enforced.
- Add all 15 answers. The maximum is 45 points, but the launch-blocking checks below override the total.
Methodology: The questions, weights, score bands and launch thresholds are this desk’s editorial decision framework. They have not been statistically validated against HVAC implementation outcomes. They are not legal certification, a safety assessment or a forecast of financial returns.
